 Through the generous giving of our Coastlife family and in partnership with Mercy Indonesia we as a local church are making an incredible impact in the nation of Indonesia, a country that has over 2 million orphans and is in desperate need of hearing the good news of Jesus.SOE, WEST TIMOR Our Project Lily Orphanage was established in 2008 in the region of Soe on the island of West Timor and is home to 22 orphan children, most of which have been relocated from East Timorese refugee camps. Through the sponsorship of these children they now have access to education, nutritious food and medical care as well as a loving home where each one is growing into their God given purpose and potential. DENPASAR, BALI Our newest Project in Indonesia is the Denpasar Orphanage. As a church we are taking on this facility which is home to 30 orphan children. This home will be focusing on raising future leaders, giving children the opportunity to attend university & college setting them up for an incredible future! As a church we are building an extension to the orphanage which will house an additional 12 children as well provide a multi purpose room for study and Sunday church services. Building is on target to be completed by December 2011 On site at the Denpasar Orphanage we are also building a christian radio station that will see the gospel spread throughout the island of Bali. Christian radio is seeing amazing results with 35 people per week coming into relationship with Jesus through this phenomenal ministry that takes the name of Jesus beyond physical borders. MISSION TRIPS Trades Teams- Each year we take teams of tradesmen to Bali & West Timor to make a practical difference by upgrading and maintaining our orphanage facilities Medical & Dental Teams- In partnership with local medical professionals each year we take teams of dentists, doctors, dental hygienists and nurses from our Central coast community to run free clinics in Indonesia Youth Teams- Each year we take our Coastlife Youth to visit our projects, giving them the opportunity to share their gifts and talents to be a blessing to the people of Indonesia through radio ministry, revival meetings and childrens ministry Food Safari's- The newest addition to our trips are FOOD SAFARI'S. These trips are a culinary adventure throughout the regional area's of Bali & West Timor, experiencing local cuisine, customs and lifestyle. These trips are open to anyone and all profits benefit our orphanage projects CHILD SPONSORSHIP Each of our orphan children from the Soe & Denpasar orphanages are individually sponsored. Child sponsorship makes it possible for these children to have access to food, clothing, health care and education in a loving Christ centered environment.
